Dance: Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Ballet
Christopher Biles, is a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University with his B.A. in Dance Education. He began training in the realms of theater and dance within his high school performing arts programs, and has continued to train in various dance techniques such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Improvisation, and Dunham Technique. He has had the opportunity to perform in various theater and dance productions throughout his career, working with many professionals such as: New York City's Leanne Schmidt and Company, Treeline Danceworks of New York City, guest performing in Ballet Arizona's children's "The Nutcracker," a performance at ARTEL PHX 2015 with CONDERDANCE, a residency and performance with Keith Williams (A principle dancer for Katherine Dunham), and a residency and performance with Jeanguy Saintus Riché of Ayikodans the Contemporary Dance Company of Haiti. Through the development of his career as a performing artist, he found a love for choreography which various of his work have been showcased in high schools, colleges, arts festivals, charity and community dance shows all over Arizona with his most notable works performing in the Gala performances of the American College Dance Association in 2013 and 2014. Currently, he works as a dance administrator for the Anderson Institute of Music and the Performing Arts and as the Artistic Director for Prolifics Dance Company, where he continues to produce shows for venues in Phoenix.
