Carolina has studied piano for more than eleven years and guitar for over nine years, including acoustic, electric, and classical guitar. She has studied classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop music along with music theory. Carolina first started teaching as a substitute teacher for her piano teacher, Jeanie Hume, in Ankeny, Iowa, at the age of twelve. She has experience in solo performance and accompaniment, including collaboration with violin, clarinet, drum, and guitar musicians.  She now teaches piano and guitar as an intern at AIM, and is training under Mr. Ed Anderson on guitar and Mrs. Angela Anderson on piano to pursue music in college. Carolina also works for music and theater shows at AIM in setting up the stage, lighting, and special effects, and is now preparing for guitar competitions.
