Gabe was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He began playing Bass Guitar at 15 years old, and incorporated Acoustic and Electric Guitar by the age 18. While attending High School, He participated in Marching Band and Concert Band, where he learned how to play the Tuba. Also in high school he received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award for his Bass Guitar performance in Jazz Big Band.
He studied Music Education at Glendale Community College, taking classes in Music Theory, Aural Perception, Concert Band, and Jazz Improv. While at GCC, He had the opportunity to work with jazz bassist like Dwight Kilian, Joel DeBartolo, and Harald Weinkum. He's is proficient in jazz, funk, rock, metal, gospel, pop, and R&B, as well as many other genres. Over the past 10 years, he has gained an extensive knowledge in music editing and studio engineering. He has spent 100’s of hours in the studio writing, composing, and recording music for his own projects as well as other musicians projects. He has also been in clinics taught by notable musicians such as Victor Wooten, Stu Hamm, and Dave Ellefson.
